Bajzát is a (goal)king, but not celebrating
He was playing on twenty-five matches and became goalking of Soproni League and Péter Bajzát satisfied with his result but disappointed about lost cup final and champion position.
His hapiness is not so big when
Péter Bajzát fighter of Győri ETO FC has the best goalscroe in this season like
he had in 2007 .
You became a
goalking again, but we have the feeling ,that you are not fully satisfied with
that we are saying to the football
player.
Well,yes I am not fully feel that .It is unmatched feeling because of the lost final cup match and the bad position in championship -started Péter Bajzát. Yes I am of course could be happy about being the goalking because I think everybody would be in my shoes from the Hungarian championship fighters, but I am not enjoying it, because we had not fight enough with the squad for the most important target and did not reach the win.
There was no
nonecho - gently saying -the club and fans were not satisfied after the lost cup
match.
Trust me, we are, the
players are also have the same feeling. The eight position is a disappointment,
because with this kind of assorted team we could have reach nearly a staging
result in the league. It is true that we lost the cup match but we think on
the other hand : we are silver medalists. We played final cup match after twenty
five years and I think it can not be hold so cheap.
It is not a
problem, that you lost the final cup match, but the way how it happened is a
problem....
Well it is a fact, that
our game was on poor level mostly on the first final match against Honvéd. It is
a shame that the return not come off well, or not as much good as we planned
before. The return game was just only one percent better than the first match in
Győr, and it was
not enough now for the win and not enough for the success.
What was the real reason behind this kind of low
level performance?
You know so many things have happened.
Most of the players did not keep on the pressure of the final cup. There are
other reasons also, but I do not want to talk about that. That is not my task to
explain them.
Nevertheless of your
great goals you have been critized by many others who wanted better performance
from Bajzát Péter.
It is well known that here in Győr fans are know the
high standards and wait for that. It is not enough to win but the fans are
waiting for the high performance and good game for their money, and I am
personally acknowledge that their expectations are real.
But not just the fans were critical, we heard head
coach Dragoljub Bekvalac hard voices, sometimes his strong public words came
after the matches.
Well he is doing his job. I understand
that, maybe I could have shot more goals but I think, I had more negative words
coming from him to me than it is necessary . Finally, I scored twenty points for
him without let me play in the last four matches. If somebody would have told me
before the championship, that I could score to the goalpost as many times as I
did, I had no doubt for it. So finally I can say that I have a little
miss.
It is always the same
situation after finishing a season and the question is moving abroad or not.
Right now we have an information about that you are one from the blamed player.
Are you staying or moving form ETO?
I have no idea. I know that my
contract is valid until next season summer and 22nd June I will be there at
ETO Park for the first day of the prepartion
that is what we have already discussed.
