Signed contract

Yesterday it has been decided and the agreement has been signed between Attila Pintér head coach and Győri ETO FC for coaching the squad. New trainer will start his work promptly from today because preparation will start after ten days. Attila Pintér had been playing football at ETO club fifteen years ago and he was head coach of FTC club and Sopron and won cup league with them. The young talented coach says:

Our objective is to build a team for home and international success and show good results. Personal changes must finish almost until 22nd June to stand up a good working team .Of course there will be players who will leave the club and some who will arrive, but this information will be public on the first training day because it needs to be working together for making this decisions and for me one thing is important personally: everybody can follow the team. I will watch dvds of the matches on the next days and of course I will work on the players list. I have possibility and in the same time all the responsibility is mine, we will work with my trainers for reaching the targets by the best way.

When I was the player of Győr I felt myself very good in here, the team had great fans and I hope it will be the same now. If our fans feel themselves good on the matches and the team can leave the field proudly there wont be problems.

I believe in the success in Győr and the well developed reserves is there for us. I am happy to work in this professional environment and hope that the football game also will be professional-closed his sentence Attila Pintér

Helytálltak a fiatalok,de kikapott a csapat

Ötvenöt év után véget ért egy nagyszerű sorozat, jövőre nem az első osztályt kezdi csapatunk annak ellenére, hogy a nyolcadik helyen zárt az együttes. A csapat ma kilenc újoncot is avatott, valószínű minden idők legfiatalabb győri ETO-ja lépett pályára az NB I-ben, és először játszott egy ikepár a több, mint ötszáz bemutatkozó közül: Nagy Ádám és Nagy Bálint. Ami a találkozót illeti, a Debrecen ugyan végig fölényben játszott, de a mieinknek is voltak ügyes megoldásai, Medgyes, Nagy Á. és Szabó Tibor pedig közel volt a gólszerzéshez, de nem jártak sikerrel. A házigazda némi szerencsével jutott vezetéshez, és aztán az első félidőben eldöntötte a meccset, az ETO akadémistái viszont helytálltak, és bízunk abban, hogy eljön az idő, amikor újra az NB I-ben szerepelhetnek majd. Néhányan biztos nem nálunk, de talán többen a 2017/18-as szezonban az ETO színekben. Ehhez kívánunk sok sikert mindenkinek. (Fotó: Nemzeti Sport)

Fiatal csapattal megyünk Debrecenbe

Az utolsó mérkőzéstől függetlenül eldőlt: a Videoton, a Ferencváros, az MTK és a Debrecen indulhat a nemzetközi kupában, így a már tét nélküli mérkőzésen a Győri ETO FC csapatában bemutatkozhatnak azok is az első osztályban, akik eddig csak az NB III-ban szerepeltek. Mindez azt jelenti, hogy az első kerethez tartozó labdarúgók közül csak az akadémisták utaznak el a vasárnapi mérkőzésre.
