Another step forward for Győr for the bronze

2-0 win for Győri ETO against MTK in 28. round of Soproni League, and another step forward for win the bronze medal. The green-whites were playing effective as usually before and were better than the capital city team: they were defending well and team of Kulcsár was not able to get over the lines, home team had chances but team of Pintér scored only two goals.

What was important?

STORNG DEFENDING LINE OF GYŐR: As it was usual before, it was the same defending system of team of Attila Pintér . Blue-white squad had no chances.

IF NECCESSARY, BRAVE WILL COME..: When MTK sometimes got over the defending lines of ETO, goalkeeper of Győr, Sasa Stevanovic was showing his brave defending . It is said that if a goalkeeper has not too much to do it is hardest to defend for him. It was the situation today, too- but when it was necessary at the shooting of Szatmári ,goalkeeper did his job.

THE COURAGE OF ETO : It was seen in the season, that guys of Győr had courage and tried to score from long distance. It is enough to think about bombastic goals of Kink or Tokody . It was the same situation on today, when it was chance they tried to shoot directly. György Józsi was also not combining the situation and he quickly saw his chance and scored one form 12 meters .

Summarizing

Shootings of Győr drove the match and both teams were playing well on the field. The grass was very vet and ETO tried to shoot from far ,too. Especially is famous about his long distance shoots Tarmo Kink, and he also tried to score today, and only brave defending of Szatmári stopped him. Also was close to score a goal György Józsi , who tried once but shot a goalpost. After the break he was more lucky and the midfielder shot a heading into the goal from 12 meters. MTK after his disadvantage tried to fight hard but defending line of ETO seemed to be a cement wall for them, Lóránd Szatmári made a double tweak and got a penalty possibility to shoot but goalkeeper Stevanovic was on his post again and defended well. Finally in 84. minute home team decided the way of three points: Alekszidze passed to Koltai who not made a mistake and scored another goal for home squad. This success is very helpful for Győri ETO to win the bronze medal: team of Pintér has only two points advantage against Újpest.

Helytálltak a fiatalok,de kikapott a csapat

Ötvenöt év után véget ért egy nagyszerű sorozat, jövőre nem az első osztályt kezdi csapatunk annak ellenére, hogy a nyolcadik helyen zárt az együttes. A csapat ma kilenc újoncot is avatott, valószínű minden idők legfiatalabb győri ETO-ja lépett pályára az NB I-ben, és először játszott egy ikepár a több, mint ötszáz bemutatkozó közül: Nagy Ádám és Nagy Bálint. Ami a találkozót illeti, a Debrecen ugyan végig fölényben játszott, de a mieinknek is voltak ügyes megoldásai, Medgyes, Nagy Á. és Szabó Tibor pedig közel volt a gólszerzéshez, de nem jártak sikerrel. A házigazda némi szerencsével jutott vezetéshez, és aztán az első félidőben eldöntötte a meccset, az ETO akadémistái viszont helytálltak, és bízunk abban, hogy eljön az idő, amikor újra az NB I-ben szerepelhetnek majd. Néhányan biztos nem nálunk, de talán többen a 2017/18-as szezonban az ETO színekben. Ehhez kívánunk sok sikert mindenkinek. (Fotó: Nemzeti Sport)

Fiatal csapattal megyünk Debrecenbe

Az utolsó mérkőzéstől függetlenül eldőlt: a Videoton, a Ferencváros, az MTK és a Debrecen indulhat a nemzetközi kupában, így a már tét nélküli mérkőzésen a Győri ETO FC csapatában bemutatkozhatnak azok is az első osztályban, akik eddig csak az NB III-ban szerepeltek. Mindez azt jelenti, hogy az első kerethez tartozó labdarúgók közül csak az akadémisták utaznak el a vasárnapi mérkőzésre.
