Győr kept his thrid position
It was good to see the nice game of Győr on home field. Team of Attila Pintér continuously drove the match and finally scored two goals in the second half and won against MTK .
It was absolutely harder match for home field playing Győr against MTK in Soproni League 28. round. One day before the match team of Attila Pintér was on the third place on the team list and had only two more points than Újpest, so only three winning points were acceptable for home players.
MTK had no risk on the sixth place on the team list. Fifth place Zalaegerszeg has six more points and seventh Ferencváros is the next on the list with five less points away from team of headcoach József Garami .
This round was played in heavy rain everywhere in the country .Despite to the bad weather the field was in perfect condition in Győr.
At the beginning of the match home players were fighting more. They had a chance already in the first minute but away goalkeeper Szatmári was defending well.
At the middle of first half they heard the news that Újpest won his match so there was only one target for home team to win for the third position.
First half was the game of home team ETO . Home team was fighting more , and MTK was mostly defending . Despite to the dominance of Győr there was no goalscoring at the first half.
Second half not only the game but also the chances were good for home players. After a corner shoot in 50. minute György Józsi scored one to the right corner. 10
In the continue of second half MTK also started playing better but their far shoots from more than 30 meters were just trials but no problem for Stevanovic.
In 68. minute MTK had a chance to equalize the match, Lóránd Szatmári tried one and was scoring from 14 meters but Stevanovic was defending perfectly.
MTK was close to his goal when home team changed a player and newly coming Tamás Koltai received a nice pass and shot a nice goal in 84. minute. 20
Later no more important things were happened , win of Győr was well deserved ,and the team keeps his third position on the team list.
