Good-bye from Draguljob Bekvalac
When the season ended the discussions began between Dragoljub Bekvalac headcoach, Tarsoly Csaba, club president and between Klement Tibor managing director. The headcoach rated critically in written and verbal form last months results this Wednesday , but the question that he continues his work with the club was not decided yet. The Serbian professional trainer signed an agreement with ETO for half and additional two years and made a clause for cancel the agreement after a half year without any consequences from both parties for any reason.
Today morning an extraordinary press conference was held at Győri ETO Fc clubroom where Dragoljub Bekvalac said, that he decided not sit on the green-white bench anymore.
"I am satisfied with the results what we have reached last months. We step forward on league table, played a semi-final in League cup and a final on Hungarian Cup.Small moments decided the matches and now we are not celebrating getting on international stage-valuated spring season Bekvalac. The management defined the objectives for the next season on our Wednesday meeting: next season have to win Hungarian Cup and finish the League cup in the first three positions. I can not guarantee that, that is why I choose the cause of the contract possibility and handed in my own resignation of headcoach position. There appeared some news in the press that football players wanted to overthrow me. I think who wrote this news also heard that form someone. If it was a target of a football player ,in that case he made a huge stupidity because he did it also against himself. We had a very good relationship between abroad professional football players and me and our teamwork was great .I would like to wish great success for the club! I would like to thank to players to our performance. I also played football for long time, I also was in their shoes and maybe they also will be coaches in the future and will appreciate my side. We were working in a special situation when eight nations were together and four languages were spoken in the changing-room. We had a great cooperative teamwork with professional players but there were also football players who were not so easy persons. I cannot fight my players because their results are my results so I can repeat that again: football playing is giving back that what you investing in it..
I would like to thank from my deepest heat for my fans that in spite of TV broadcastings and bad weather they were there and accompanied our team everywhere and were cheering for us. I hope that there will be an international match in Győr very soon and I hope that I will be invited to there-closed his words Draguljob Bekvalac.
Klement Tibor, managing director of Győri ETO FC said, that there is
no information about who will train the team for the
championship.
" Our club havent got
a talk about that. I will meet Thursday afternoon with club president of ETO,
Tarsoly Csaba, and we will decide what kind of organization form and with which
persons we would like to continue the work. We are desperately will reorganize
the squad. The club became a private owned company 8 years ago, from this
time we have reached 3.postion only once and had no other results with the main
team. The NBI squad of ETO is standing in the window and they are still owe
to us with outstanding results. It will be showed in the team that who were the
players those as our hopes failed."
