ETO FC: Season summary
ETO FC finished the 2008/2009 season in 8th position which is a remarkable comedown and a bit progress comparing fall results. This short period 39 players wore Győr soccer kit and Péter Bajzát became goal king of the league.
Improvement in away play
It seemed to be that after a very soft fall season performance ETO can show better play and had chance to catch the third place in the championship but finally not achieved the minimal target to finish between 1-6. position.
There were changes on the bench where coach Egervári Sándor left and Draguljob Bekvalac arrived. Comparing fall season 18 points to 25 points of springtime the new coach showed a little bit better teamwork. Great match wins and praiseworthy equal results came, and springtime only two lost matches were for the ETO squad and one from that loose happened after the historical cup final losing when the team was collapsed.
Home play was nearly the same in fall and in springtime also and it is annoying that Fehérvár was winner in our Győr field and also Haladás, Kaposvár and Vasas ,too

winter time transfers and some reserves players

Bajzát: great performance
The season time sixteen players shot goals to the opponents . ETO scored 57 goals and the best performance came from the Soproni League goalking ,Péter Bajzát . It is interesting that his 20 goals where shot 25 matches. Second most effective player Rati Aleksidze shot 7 goals on 13 matches which is also a great performance. Third beating player of the squad Bojan Brnovic with 5 goals from which treble shot was on MTK match at home.
György Józsi and Zoltán I. Kovács shot 4-4 goals, Tarmo Kink 3, Zoltán Böőr , Péter Stark and Mario Bicak 2-2 times were successful .Players who shot one goal: Antal Jakl, Arsene Copa, Imre Csermelyi ,Máté Kiss , Tibor Tokody ,Tamás Koltai and Dániel Völgyi.
Újpest midfielder Bozsic also scored an own goal for ETO.
